The hotel staff provided really good service, and the fresh breakfast with made-to-order omelettes was a good start to our mornings.

Excellent and efficient staff, it was such wonderful stay.

The food in the bar was outstanding and local.

Delicious and absolutely fantastic morning meal in the bar. Very clean bed, fairly clean bathroom and a personal safe, air conditioning, and a minibar in the room.

Couple's nice escape

The location was a winner, very walkable to everything and yet just distant enough from the hustle. The breakfast buffet was a delight, tons of choices and they cook to order eggs, couldn't start the day better, right?

The infinity pool is very nice, and the balcony views are fine! Our room had all the conveniences we needed. We loved the complimentary port wine.

The rooftop leisure pool offered beautiful views, but the electrics were frustrating.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning units are quite noisy and difficult to manage. The pool only reaches a shallow depth of 70cm, which really doesn't lend itself to swimming. Navigating the confusing light switches in the rooms can be frustrating. They seem designed to keep you guessing. The €15 nightly parking charge feels a bit steep, especially when various nearby options are free, and the restaurant service can be slow, affecting the overall dining experience.

The room was nicely appointed with a safe, small refrigerator/mini bar, and a kettle along with a coffee maker, which enhanced my stay. I appreciated the breakfast buffet that featured a variety of items and made-to-order eggs, providing an excellent start to my day. The hotel also offers a unique cute touch with a complimentary glass of port wine upon arrival.

The location impressed me immediately. Just a short walk from the funicular, it felt relaxed despite being close to the riverfront. The rooftop infinity pool shone in the sunshine and provided some fine views. I paid a bit extra for the room with a balcony and it, offering a fantastic vantage point. Breakfast choices were extensive, and I always looked forward to those made-to-order eggs. The gym facilities were underwhelming and fell short of what I expected from the descriptions, disappointing. The room layout was spacious and modern, but some confusing light switches made it tricky to figure out how to turn on the lights. It could have used a bit more attention to detail in certain areas. Despite these hiccups, the staff's helpfulness throughout my stay stood out, and the complimentary port wine when I checked in reminded me of a lovely personal touch. I enjoyed my stay, with some room for improvements.

The hotel features a beautiful courtyard garden that provides a quiet retreat within the urban setting. I appreciated the comfortable public areas, thoughtfully designed and inviting.

A wider variety in pillows would enhance comfort.

The breakfast had freshly baked croissants, a variety of organic juices, and made-to-order omelets. The Superior Double room was spacious with a minibar, kettle, and a tv. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the rooftop pool offered nice views of the city while lounging on sun beds.

Spotlessly clean and accommodating service with a good ambiance.
